I ran across this website called hipsterfunoff.com during my daily websurfing routine (i think i was trying to figure out what the hell blog-house means). upon first glance, i relegated it to run of the mill music blog fare. but scrolling through it further, it became clear that hipsterunoff.com was a different thing entirely. it’s either the most grotesque example of snide hipster cynicism i’ve ever seen, or its most glorious satire. it really is impossible for me to tell though. or maybe i’m thinking about it all wrong. maybe the line between cynicism and satire has already been eviscerated?
can someone enlighten me?

Yeah, it’s hard to tell. Is it possible for it to be both? Sometimes their content is hilarious, and sometimes it is the epitome of what’s annoying about the whole hipster community. Their Nude remix was hilarious though.
I suppose maybe it is both. That’s what I was thinking. Which is really weird and kind of creepy.
i think it’s completely satirical. it’s also a much better read if you look at it that way haha
